We Strive to Build Relationships with Our Clients

Clients turn to The Shapiro Law Firm for our wealth of knowledge and more than 30 years of experience in family law. Our family law practice addresses every aspect of family law with a focus on easing the stress that is characteristic of divorce, child custody, property division and other marital issues.

Located in Plano, Texas, our law firm has a tradition of assisting individuals and families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex in a broad scope of legal issues, which extends beyond family law to include criminal law and personal injury cases.

In particular, our lawyers recognize the need for personalized legal services to meet the needs of each client. Clients receive our undivided attention as we carefully listen to their side of the issue, discuss their situation and develop legal strategies and solutions to resolve their problems. Commitment — Experience — Reputation

Committed to serving the Plano community, our lawyers represent the hard-working values typical of the region. Howard Shapiro began his legal career as a prosecuting attorney for the Collin County district attorney’s office and later pursued a career as a municipal judge. He also served as president of the Plano and Collin County bar associations. Todd Shapiro was an assistant district attorney in the Dallas County district attorney’s office before becoming a partner at The Shapiro Law Firm.

As our firm’s reputation has grown among lawyers, judges and former clients, we take pride in the fact that we have established a large client base referred by other satisfied clients and fellow attorneys. Bringing commitment and experience to every case we represent, our attorneys strive to achieve the successful outcomes for which we are known.

Community Ties

Our firm has supported the community not only in a legal capacity but also through civic and charitable activities. Our community involvement includes memberships in the Plano School Board, Plano Rotary Club, Plano Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Plano Sports Authority and Men’s Athletic Council at the University of Texas.
